  • Arrival - Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam

    Breakfast Lunch Dinner

    Upon arrival at Ho Chi Minh City, meet your English-speaking guide who will escort you to the hotel for relaxing. 

    In the afternoon, you visit Thien Hau Pagoda, the oldest temple in Vietnam, located in the heart of Chinatown. Continue to visit beautiful architecture left from French colonial times, including Notre Dame cathedral, the Opera House, and City Hall. To end the day, enjoy shopping in Dong Khoi Street with a lot of luxury brands here. 

    Welcome dinner at Hoa Tuc Restaurant.

  • Ho Chi Minh – Cai Be – Bassac Overnight Cruise

    Breakfast Lunch Dinner

    Today, following hotel check-out, we embarked on a Mekong Delta adventure at Cai Be Pier. Our journey commences at noon with a warm welcome aboard, a ship and crew introduction, and cabin assignments. We then set sail on the Tien Giang River towards Cho Lach, enjoying a leisurely lunch while cruising.

    Relax and soak in the scenery on deck as the Bassac navigates the vibrant Chợ Lách canal, a bustling waterway teeming with river traffic, markets, and churches. This unique vantage point offers a fascinating glimpse into the diverse life along the riverbanks.

    By mid-afternoon, we anchor for a delightful exploration ashore. Discover the tranquility of the delta countryside – lush rice fields, fruit orchards, and welcoming locals. Alternatively, opt for an invigorating cycling tour through the surrounding area.

    Return to the ship with a complimentary welcome-back drink and unwind on deck as we witness a breathtaking sunset. Enjoy a delicious dinner while cruising along the Mang Thit River, before anchoring downstream from Tra On for the night.

  • Can Tho – Chau Doc

    Breakfast Lunch Dinner

    Our journey commences at 6:00 AM with a departure towards Can Tho. Enjoy a delicious breakfast at 7:00 AM as we cruise. Upon arrival in Can Tho, we transfer to a local boat for an exciting exploration of the Cai Rang Floating Market, followed by a fascinating visit to a small bamboo basket workshop. We then return to Ninh Kieu Pier, concluding our Bassac experience around mid-morning. Travel by land to Chau Doc, with a stop for lunch at a local restaurant. Upon arrival in Chau Doc, a border town with Cambodia situated on the Bassac River, check into the hotel for overnight accommodation.

     Lunch will be a set menu at a local restaurant and dinner will be a set menu at the hotel.

    Please note you will leave the Bassac for good upon boarding the small boat for the last visit, typically about 8:00.

  • Chau Doc – Phnom Penh

    Breakfast Lunch Dinner

    Following breakfast at the hotel, a 5-6 hour shared speedboat journey will transport you to Phnom Penh. The harbor's proximity allows for a short walk from the Victoria Chau Doc Hotel, and a rickshaw will be provided for your luggage.

    Upon arrival at Phnom Penh pier, meet your guide and ready the hotel for check-in.

    You may have lunch at a local restaurant next to the pier, Bopha Phnom Penh restaurant. 

    In the afternoon, you will visit the Royal Palace built in 1866, being the official residence of the King. It is an excellent example of Khmer architecture with an element of French influence. Inside, you visit Throne Hall is where the king's general and official ceremonies and Silver Pagoda houses many national treasures such as gold and jeweled Buddha statues and inlaid with more than 5,000 silver tiles covering its floors.

    You will discover Cambodia’s dark history and the horror of Phnom Penh’s past. First head, visit Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, a former high school which was used as the notorious Security Prison 21 (S-21) by the Khmer Rouge regime. 

    If you wish to browse through the colorful Russian Market?  It is the place to shop for discounted brand-name clothing, also the best place in the city for wooden and stoned carvings, jewellery and silk souvenirs.

    Or you may stop at Java Creative Café? It is more than just a café—it's a vibrant cultural hub in Phnom Penh that brings together food, specialty coffee, local creativity and a cozy atmosphere with showcasing art exhibitions (Note: Any consumption is on your own account).

  • Phnom Penh – Battambang

    This morning, pick you up from the hotel and drive through the countryside to Battambang (291 Km, approx. 5:30 hour drive).  Upon arrival directly to the hotel for relaxing. (Lunch on guest’s own account). 

    Cambodia's second-largest city, Battambang-is a pretty riverside town of French elegance, friendly Khmer people and beautifully preserved colonial architecture. 

    In the afternoon, spend an hour wandering around Phare Ponleu Selpak, a non-profit association started in 1994 by a young group returning from refugee camps during the Cambodian civil war. You will see students who are training in the classes on subjects like acrobatics, music and a variety of art disciplines. Don’t miss out on art galleries. (Note: The school will be closed every weekend and public holiday.)

    Late afternoon, head to Phnom Sampov, also known as "Ship Hill," offers an uphill walk on 700 steps, featuring a pagoda that was a Khmer Rouge torture center. The hilltop offers stunning views of the countryside and a natural cave with uprooted stones. At dusk, millions of bats create unique patterns. 

    This evening, you may enjoy a street tour for tasting local dishes such as Khmer curry with noodles, fried or grilled spicy chicken and any drink available in a string of pavement stalls. It is fun and cheap, yet real experience with the real nightlife of the locals. The market sits along the lovely riverbank where you can enjoy the beautiful atmosphere during the night.

  • Battambang – Siem Reap

    In the morning, you will take Remork motor so-called “tuk tuk” riding amongst the countryside where you are impressed by the genuine look into local ways of the traditional livelihoods, where you can witness the villager produce the products that you can also taste-the perfect way to get insight into Cambodians lives and soak up a fun experience overall! The tour also includes the Well of Shadows” which is located at Wat Somrong Knong – Killing Fields.

    Now, you will be traveling the rural village to Siem Reap (172 km, approximately a 3:00 hour drive). Upon arrival, directly to the hotel for check in. The rest of the balance day is free at leisure.    

    The small but expanding town of Siem Reap is the gateway to Angkor. This is the most popular destination for travelers in all of Cambodia, perhaps even in South-East Asia.

  • Siem Reap

    6:00am, you will depart early from your hotel and begins your exploration of a Remork Motor by the lady driver. It is the easiest and fun way to look around you on board, aside from supporting women. 

    By escaping from the crowds, you will be ready to take a shady walk along the tall tree-lined avenues and explore the beautiful Ta Prohm temple. The huge roots of giant trees and vines make this temple unique and famous. The temple is so peaceful and restored to nature that it was even used as a filming location for Angelina Jolie's film ``Lara Croft: Tomb Raider.''

    Stop at the jungle nearby the temple site for your packed picnic breakfast where you will encounter a unique and memorable experience with nature and historical site.  

    Continue to visit the Khmer Empire, Angkor Thom is literally "Great City" which was established in the early 12th century. Enter the capital through South Gate with its impressive sandstone carving, then continue to Bayon Temple sits at the heart of the capital. Its masterpiece consists of 54 standing towers with four huge smiling faces, and its outer gallery contains about 11000 bas-reliefs depicting heroic historical tales as well as scenes of Khmer daily life in that civilization.

    Head back to hotel for relaxing from the whole day.

    This evening, you will be entertained with a special performance of the Cambodian circus at Phare Ponleu Selpak. PPS meaning "The Brightness of the Arts, it is an NGO that has improved the lives of children, young adults, and their families with art schools, educational programs, and social support so far. Inside the campus, you will enjoy the rotation of a spectacular show put on by a talented and energetic troupe of young performers. (Note: The one-hour show opens for the public daily at 8:00 p.m.)

    Get up early for an eye-catching sunrise around 5:30am (depending on season) at Angkor Wat, then you will have a refreshment breakfast and coffee before jumping into the discover the temple during less visitors.  Angkor Wat built in 1113-1150. The structure is said to be one of the world’s largest religious monuments. The central tower reaches a height of 65 meters where you may also climb up and enjoy a breathtaking view. Angkor Wat symbolizes the soul of the Khmer people and graces every Cambodia's flag. 

    Return to the hotel for your breakfast and relaxing from the balance day. 

    Afternoon, drive out to visit Banteay Srei temple, so-called "Citadel of the Women". It was built in 967, and the temple’s most intricate and deep carvings and architectural details in the unique pink-hued sandstone temple well preserve the best of Khmer art.

    Walk inside a Buddhist pagoda where you will experience a blessing ceremony. The monk will pray, wishing you happiness, good luck, and prosperity—a truly memorable moment!

    On the way, you will stop and taste Nom Banh Chok “Cambodian noodle” is a unique Khmer dish, loved by locals and tourists alike. It consists of rice noodles topped with a green fish gravy and heaps of fresh green beans, bean sprouts, banana flower and other greens, do not forget green chili.  

    Farewell dinner will be served at Lum Orng Garden, the restaurant sets a village on the edge of Siem Reap. The food ingredient comes from seasonal produce from its organic farms and gardens, offering you a wonderful moment during your meal.
